ABOUT THE THEME

We were each created in God’s perfect image, surrounded by perfect people, with His perfect supply, having every need met perfectly, while living in the perfection of paradise. The Bible reminds us that the place God created for each of us to dwell in was; Good.

Then man sinned. As a result, we were forced to live with a distorted image of God, surrounded by imperfect people, often failing to see His supply. Though we were created for satisfaction, we’re now destined to always seek more. We were meant to be paradise people, yet we are humans in the midst of total havoc.

What if God’s primary purpose in our lives wasn’t to make us happy. What if He didn’t exist to give us our best lives now. What if, God’s grand plan for creation was to get us back to the Garden of Paradise that He created us for? A place with close, intimate, and daily fellowship with Him. A place of relational bliss with our fellow man. A place of wholeness, fullness, prosperity, and blessing. What if God is preparing us to be paradise people once again? What if we endured this broken world, knowing that one day we will be back in the Garden for Good? What if we refused to place our hopes, our dreams, and our satisfaction in the fading things around us, knowing that better days lie ahead?

DAILY THEMES

The Cause of Chaos- Sin ruins paradise. Anytime we choose other than God, we choose to brake our fallen world worse and worse.

The Coming Kingdom- One day, God will in fact make all things new, as Re-demption is completed, and mankind is re-turned to Paradise forever.

The Perfect Place- We were created for a paradise, where every moment is provided for and every moment is spent in the presence of God.

Living In Laments- God knows that we were created for paradise, while living in a problematic world. Yet we can actually see Garden glimpses each day amidst the brokeness of this life, when we look to Jesus, the Gardener.
